Alex has worked in the film industry for over 9 years at production companies and as a freelance DIT / Data wranger. Worked on several films and TV series, for the BBC, CBBC, Channel 4, Netflix, including Come Away, A Christmas Carol, So Awkward etc. Please refer to her IMDB profile for more details.

 

Prior to working as a freelancer worked at Premier PR as a Traffic Assistant. Previously worked at The Edit Store as a Tape Librarian and before that as a post-production runner.

 

Graduated with a BA (Hons) Film Production degree at the University for the Creative Arts, where she specialised in post-production.

 

Currently work as a freelance DIT / Data Manager, Editor, Colourist. Is very keen to work and develop skills in Post Production work on features, shorts, TV and commercials. 

 

Her career aspiration is to work her way up to become an accomplished Colourist. She currently knows the basics of Nucoda and wishes to practice more to develop her skills. She is also experimenting with Da Vinci Resolve and various programs.

 

Confident in the following programs and uses regularly: DaVinci Resolve, Silverstack, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer, Compressor, Media Encoder, DVD Studio Pro, MPEG Steam Clip, YoYotta.

 

A very motivated, hardworking, enthusiastic individual, with a huge passion for film, especially in editing and colour grading as these are where her ambition lies.
